Day 1 : Arrival in Marrakech

Greetings in the airport of Marrakech then transfer to your Marrakech riad. Overnight in traditional Riad/Hotel.

 Day 2 : Marrakech, Ouarzazate, Rose Valley, Dades valley

You will start your journey southward to Dades valley via Tizi n’Tichka pass. you will visit the berber village of Ait BenHaddou, it was established in the 11th century, its position on the main Marrakech to the sahara route, meant it was an ideal stop off for traders taking salt across the desert and returning with goods such as gold and ivory. After lunch you will continue to Dades valley through the rose valley. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

 Day 3: Dades valley, Todgha gorges, Sahara Desert

Depart in the morning to Sahara Desert via Todgha gorges , where you will take a walk to exploring this magnificent and narrow gorges. After lunch, continue to Erfoud city for a visit to a local fossil craft workshop. Continuing to the fascinating dunes of Erg Chebbi. Where you will have camel trekking attending the sunset and spend the evening in a desert camp, enjoy a Moroccan dinner, listen to berber music at the campfire under a million stars.  Overnight in a traditional Nomad camel hair tent.

 Day 4: Merzouga oasis, Khamlia village, Visit authentic market of Rissani

After breakfast, you will start an amazing trip alongside the dunes while passing by the oasis and stop to see an old system of irrigation which local people still using to irrigate their fields in the oasis, continue to Khamlia village to listen Gnaoua musicians, then short drive will take you to Rissani for a visit to the mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif; the founder of the Alaouite dynasty, and experience the authentic local market, lunch in Rissani and return to the hotel where you will spend the night.

 Day 5: Sahara Desert – Midelt – Azrou – Fez

After breakfast. We will start our trip to Fes via Erfoud and Ziz Valley enjoying its plam plantation. After lunch in Midelt, you will continue your journey to Fes via Azrou where you will have the opportunity to see the largest forest of cedar trees in the region that is inhabited by monkeys. Arrive to Fes early evening. Overnight at traditional Moroccan Riad

 

Day 6: Fes City Guided Tour – Chefchaouen

Today in this UNESCO World Heritage city you will have a guided visit with a local guide. You will visit the medieval medina with its Attarine and Bou Anania Medersas, Nejjarine fountain, and the Karaouine mosque, Overnight at the  Hotel/Riad


 Day 7: Explore Chefchaouen

Tis morning after breakfast we drive to Chefchaouen blue pearl of Morocco, along the way we will visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis, considered the best Roman ruins in all of Morocco...  will spend the afternoon exploring the charming city of Chefchaouen located in the Rif Mountains. It is famous for its bright blue color of its buildings. While strolling through the narrow cobbled streets and the walls of the Medina. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the main square of the medina. Overnight in hotel/ Riad in Chefchaouen.

 

Day 8 : Chefchaouen – Rabat.

You will spend the morning exploring the charming city of Chefchaouen located in the Rif Mountains. It is famous for its bright blue color of its buildings. While strolling through the narrow cobbled streets and the walls of the medina. Lunch at a local restaurant. Then we will drive to Rabat.

Overnight at: Riad or Hotel 

 

Day 9 : Rabat – Casablanca – Marrakech.

Here in Rabat you will visit the Royal Palace, the Mohamed V Mausoleum and the Hassan Tower, minaret of incomplete mosque initiated by the Almohad ruler, Yaacoub al-Mansour. You can also visit the Kasbah des Oudaya. After we will continue our journey to Marrakech with a visit to Hassan 2nd mosque in Casablanca.

Overnight at: Riad 

 

Day 10 : Explore Marrakech

Today you will have a full day guided tour of Marrakech Medina with a local guide including: the Saadian tombs, Bahia Palace, Dar Si Said Museum, Koutoubia Minaret, Majorelle gardens. Afternoon visit Gueliz the modern area of Marrakech and the dynamic Djemaa el fna square where you will enjoy the snake charmers, singers, acrobats, dancers, storytellers… Evening return to spend the night in your Riad.

Overnight at the same accommodation.

 

Day 11 : Marrakech (transfer to airport)

After breakfast at the riad/hotel, transfer to airport depends on your flight departure.

 What should I wear?

Morocco is a muslim country and thus, you should aim to dress conservatively — cover your arms and legs. You do not need to cover your hair. Know that how you dress is up to you. 

 

Where should I fly into?

Fly in and out of Marrakech. Flights are not included in the cost of this tour.
